EXCHANGE   Exchange – Mailbox folders permissions to other users



A user asked me the way to grant permissions to other users to access to some of his mailbox folders. And for certain folder only read-only permissions.

Let’s suppose “testuser1” wants to allow accessing some folders to “testuser2”.

EXCHANGE   Exchange 2013 – Emails sent in TNEF winmail format



Some users notified me that some external recipients could not open sent attachments.
After some tests I realized that the problem only appeared for external contacts.

When sending this email…

EXCHANGE   Exchange 2013 – Solved the “Search results limited to 250” bug

EXCHANGE   Exchange – Outlook connection issues after deleting Public Folder

   Outlook – Shared mailbox sent items not saved on the shared mailbox



By design, Outlook saves sent emails from shared mailboxes on the main account sent items folders. The users often find this behaviour annoying and ask for a solution.

   Exchange 2013 mailbox migration – Outlook cannot connect



Migrating a mailbox to Exchange 2013 in an mixed environment from Exchange 2010 can cause Outlook to be unable to connect to the mailbox.

This is caused because the autodiscover data is not updated automatically with the new location of the mailbox. CAS 2013 servers are still proxying the request to the 2010 mailbox servers.
